Robert Mondavi Private Selection Merlot displays all the attributes that make this variety so popular: bright aromas and flavors of smooth cherry, plum and strawberry with hints of cedar, black olive and spice—supported by a supple texture with fine-grained tannins and bright acidity.
These qualities come from choice Central Coast Merlot grapes, with 9% Syrah for enhanced color and richness. The Central Coast American Viticultural Area (AVA), especially Monterey County, provides the temperate climate, cool breezes and moist alluvial soils in which Merlot thrives, developing ripe, fruity flavors while retaining good balancing acidity. We enhance the wine’s pure fruit flavors with just a hint of oak for roundness and complexity.
Enjoy this Merlot with everything from wild mushroom pizza, spaghetti Bolognese, Cornish game hens and rosemary chicken to grilled beef and lamb shanks.
Private Selection Chardonnay reveals ripe apple, melon, citrus and tropical fruit aromas enriched by spicy French oak nuances and enticing baked bread scents. On the mouth-filling, creamy palate, rich tropical fruit flavors buttressed by toasty oak tones create a lush impression, balanced by a long, crisp finish imbued with the refreshing minerality typical of Central Coast Chardonnay.
Pairs well with rich seafood, poultry and pork dishes, white-sauce pastas like Fettucine Alfredo and flavorful, soft-ripening cheeses.
The Mondavi Private Selection Cab has the sweet black cherry and dark berry fruit character that distinguishes California’s finest Cabernet Sauvignons, and its ripe fruit is supported by velvety tannins and well-integrated oak. This is a wine of excellent depth, richness and length on the palate.

We will deliver same day by van within select parts of NJ & NY if we receive the order before 10:30 A.M. EST, Monday-Friday (except for legal holidays). Saturday delivery may also be available during holiday seasons. Van orders received after 10:30 A.M. EST will be delivered on the following business day. Orders for future van delivery service can be placed as well.
Deliveries are limited to certain zip codes within New Jersey and New York. The delivery cost is calculated based upon the weight and size of the package, plus the destination zip code.

| This is a great basket! I sent one to my daughter& new son in law on their 1st anniversary. Married in Sept.& moved to CO. from NY. So,I wanted to send them a basket.Mondavi wines are great & the basket was loaded with really wonderful treats:cheese,crackers,nuts,chocolate, cookies ,pretzels. Everything was so good.A real winner all around! |
